Supporting the Development of Education in Rwanda.
In alignment with the Ministry of Education’s plans and priorities as outlined in the Education Sector Strategic Plan (ESSP), ITF Rwanda is committed to enhancing educational outcomes across the country. As a branch of the International Transformation Foundation (ITF), ITF Rwanda is dedicated to improving the lives of local communities by providing sustainable access to clean and safe tap water. Registered as an International Non-Governmental Organization (INGO) in March 2018, following a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Education in December 2017, ITF Rwanda aims to replicate ITF’s impact-driven social innovation, “A Water Kiosk at School,” which ensures that school children no longer have to miss school to secure water for their families, addressing the risk of millions of children dropping out due to lack of access to clean and affordable tap water systems. Additionally, it imparts basic business management skills, provides reliable and affordable clean tap water to communities, thereby promoting both life improvement and environmental conservation.
