Promoting sustainability, Fueling Dreams: ITF's Bottle Sale Fundraiser at the Nairobi Street Food Festival

The Nairobi Street Food Festival was a vibrant celebration of culinary diversity and local culture. The festival brought together an impressive array of more than 50 vendors who showcased their unique offerings that reflect the rich tapestry of flavors found throughout Nairobi and beyond. This year, the festival attracted over a thousand enthusiastic attendees, all eager to explore the various street food options available. This ranged from traditional Kenyan delicacies to innovative fusion dishes that highlighted the creativity of local chefs and food entrepreneurs.

International Transformation Foundation (ITF) had a notable presence at the festival. Our primary objective was to raise awareness and funds for vital community projects, specifically the water fountain and water kiosk initiatives. These projects aim at improving access to clean and safe drinking water to underserved populations. To achieve this goal, ITF set up a booth offering 500 ml and 1-liter reusable water bottles and encouraged attendees to donate in exchange for these essential resources. Each purchase not only promoted sustainability but also contributed directly to the funding of the organization's ongoing projects, which are crucial for enhancing public health and well-being in the community.

The festival served as an ideal platform for ITF to engage with the public, share information about our mission, and highlight the importance of access to clean water. Attendees were not only able to enjoy delicious food but also learn about the pressing issues surrounding water scarcity and the innovative solutions being implemented by ITF.
