Erasmus+
INTRODUCTION
Erasmus+ is the EU's programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. The 2021-2027 programme places a strong focus on social inclusion, the green and digital transitions, and promoting young people’s participation in democratic life.
It supports priorities and activities set out in the European Education Area, Digital Education Action Plan and the European Skills Agenda.
In ITF this programme is often referred to as Erasmus Plus Projects or Mobility Projects because it includes a strong international dimension: cooperation with Partner Countries notably in the field of higher education and youth, through institutional partnerships, youth cooperation and mobility worldwide.

GEAVET
The Inclusive Greening Excellence in the African Education and Training Ecosystem (GEAVET) project seeks to tackle the challenges posed by climate change and the ongoing mismatch between job requirements and the skills provided by education and vocational training systems. The project is set to run for 3 years from December 2023 - November 2026. The objective is to shift agriculture from traditional subsistence farming to climate-smart, nature-positive practices that generate income and jobs. The project will be done in collaboration with six other partners which include Eduforma Srl - (Italy), European Knowledge Spot (Greece), SKINK (Croatia), Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU)- (Nigeria), Associacao De Educacao De Jovens E Adultos De Nampula (Mozambique) and Uganda Youth Skills Training Organizations - (Uganda).
