ITF was officially established in December 2009 by amalgamated East African youths in Kenya. ITF was dully registered as an international non-profit Youth organization in Kenya on 25th August 2010.
ITF is located in Buruburu Phase 1, Cassia Crescent Court, House 29 Extension. Feel free to visit our offices anytime within our working hours. We have a youth friendly office and our working hours are Monday to Thursday 9:00am to 5pm.
Anyone who is 18 – 30 years old is eligible for ITF membership subject to the approval of the administrative committee, on payment of a minimum annual membership fee. The ITF membership fee varies by country and continent.

ITF members enjoy a lot of privileges including annual workshop trainings where members are taken through a self development program on how to become better leaders, entrepreneurs and independent individuals. ITF members also participate in the annual ITF debate where they discuss issues affecting the youth and how the youth can solve their own issues. Members are also prioritized in volunteer applications and as beneficiaries of ITF projects.

ITF entrusts its volunteers with productive tasks that not only makes them more responsible but also boosts their knowledge and prepares them for the job market. The volunteer experience is stimulating, enriching and is well worth it.

The duties of the various management bodies within International Transformation Foundation (ITF) are determined by the laws of Republic of Kenya, the organization’s governance policy and by- laws decided by the Board of Directors (Board). The ITF Board is responsible for the management of the Organization. Other bodies such as the secretariat, Advisory board and Inspection committee have an assisting and supporting role. The operations of the Organization are coordinated through the Secretary General and volunteer members at the coordination Secretariat based in Nairobi-Kenya. A day-to-day operational responsibility rests with the projects areas and assigned volunteer members with related task at the Secretariat.
The ITF Board of Directors is responsible for the ultimate governance of the organization and has legal, fiduciary, and ethical responsibilities. The ITF board is of 6 volunteering members and it has a Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer. ITF board members are all between 18 and 30 years old.
ITF Secretariat is based in Nairobi and it is also referred as the ‘Coordination Secretariat’ The Secretariat coordinates day to day operations of the organization through the Secretary General and volunteer members who are youth from different countries. All ITF Secretariat staff and volunteers are between 18 and 30 years old.
